Deep Tissue - Structural Bodywork
This style of bodywork focuses on fascia. Fascia holds everything together in the soft tissue, effectively
shrink wrapping muscle on various levels. When fascia becomes too dense things become clumped
together which can cause all kinds of chronic problems.
The primary technique I use (structural integration) uses slow, intense movement to go between the cracks and make space in the body. At times I also employ Myofascial Release (MFR) when there are stubborn spots that need extra attention. This is achieved by lingering on them for 2 minutes or longer - sometimes much longer. The ultimate goal with all I do is to restore normal posture and function by melting tissues back to where they belong. This can relieve you of aches and pains that have been robbing you of peace for years.

Some conditions this style is particularly effective in treating include:

Carpal Tunnel
Chronic Back Pain
Piriformis Syndrome
Shin Splints
Plantar Fasciits
Any Tightness of the Leg
